  • How do I book a session?

    Please feel free to contact us through our contact page. Alternatively send a direct email to admin@collabpsychology.com and we can reach out and organise a complimentary introduction call.

  • What is Telehealth? How do I set up?

    Our Telehealth platform is organised through Zoom. It is a safe and secure network that is recommended by the APS. To set up please ensure you have a quiet and confidential space. We will send through a zoom link prior to your session that you can log into and we complete our session together. A strong internet connection is recommended. Please feel free to ask any questions regarding the process of Telehealth during our introduction call.

  • Do you use Medicare?

    Yes we do have access to medicare. We ask that you pay for the session in full prior to your session and we will complete the Medicare rebate on your behalf. Current medicare rebates for General Psychologists are $96.65. To access medicare a referral is required from your GP or other medical specialist (psychiatrist or paediatrician). You can currently access up to 10 sessions with a psychologist per calendar year.

  • What if I need to cancel my session?

    We understand that life happens and you may need to cancel sessions from time to time. Should you need to cancel please feel free to contact us through our email. Our cancellation policy states that cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment time incurs a full payment of the session.

  • What if my Zoom doesn't work at the start of my session?

    We understand technology can play tricks on us sometimes. We ask that if our online connection breaks that you have access to a phone and your psychologist will call you to continue the session.

  • Is Telehealth psychology effective?

    Research shows that Telehealth can be as effective as in-person therapy for many people and types of treatment. However, Telehealth is not always suitable for all people and presentations. We can explore if Telehealth is suitable for you in our complimentary call.
